Mt. Shasta natural pumice stones

These amazing natural Pumice stones are surface gathered and hand-picked on foot by Stuart Ward for thirty years now in the foot hills of Mt. Shasta, California. In the summer as snow melts and washes them down the wild mountain creek from Mt. Shasta’s volcanic eruption believed last to erupt in the late 1700’s.

Each pumice stone is 100% nature made, unique in shape and size, they each weigh approxamatly 3.0- 3.9 ounces each and measure approximately up to 4 inches in length perfect for the hand.

This pumice is exactly as found in nature, so no warranty can be made.

Sharp craters on some. Always use mindfully.

Callus removal: Soak and lather well to soften skin. Wet stone. Finding smoothest work face or point, scrub gently.

Cleaning pans that have baked on grease - please use wet and test a small section before moving forward, may scratch porcelain and stainless steel.

Pumice care: Soak in hot soapy water. Scrub with wire brush, rinsing often. Handle with care; rocks can fracture if dropped. Dry in sun to purify, re-energize and restore buoyancy.

Pumice is volcanic glass, sand that is impregnated with water that has been forced into a volcano and when it heats up the water molecules expand and provide little closed cell bubbles in side of this volcanic glass and those close cells occupied enough space in conjunction with the minerial to make it lighter than water- description by Samual Jackson
